Did not think it was working, but is.

For a while, I’ve wanted the ability to monitor the temperature in the freezer and refrigerator to ensure that they are properly closed, as items can get stuck in the gaskets, or something may prevent the doors from fully shutting. Additionally, if the power goes out, knowing if the temperature has dropped too far is helpful. These thermometers are also useful for indicating if the temperature settings of your freezer or refrigerator are too high or too low. They are easy to set up and calibrate and can then be attached to the side of the fridge using the built-in magnets. This review is for ASIN: B0DHW7M5TH2 pcs Refrigerator Thermometer Freezer Alarm Digital Freezer Thermometer Fridge Thermometer with Extra Sensor high and Low Temperature Alarm (2, Black, ZZ10)

This review is for a set of two digital refrigerator/freezer thermometers (ZZ10 model) with an extra sensor each, featuring high and low temperature alarms. They are black in color.Pros:Two Thermometers: Getting two thermometers is convenient for monitoring both the refrigerator and freezer simultaneously, or for monitoring different zones within a larger refrigerator. This is exactly what we needed as we wanted to make sure an old frig at our lake house was working on both sides.Digital Display: A digital display provides clear and easy-to-read temperature readings.Extra Sensor: The inclusion of an extra sensor for each thermometer allows for more accurate temperature monitoring in different areas of the refrigerator or freezer. You can place the main unit outside and the sensor inside for a better reading of the internal temperature.High and Low Temperature Alarms: This is a crucial feature for food safety. The alarms alert you if the temperature goes outside of a preset range, helping you prevent food spoilage. I think we will put these in our deep freeze now as the alarm is a nice touch!Easy to Use: These thermometers are typically designed for simple operation, with easy-to-set alarms and clear display readings.Cons:Accuracy: The accuracy of the temperature readings is important. Cheaper thermometers might not be as accurate as more expensive models. I have noticed a little fluctuation in them but less than 5 degreesBattery Life: These thermometers are battery-powered, so battery life is a consideration.Durability: The durability of the thermometer and the sensor cord should be considered, especially in the cold and humid environment of a refrigerator or freezer.Alarm Volume: The alarm volume should be loud enough to be heard from another room.Overall:A set of two digital refrigerator/freezer thermometers with extra sensors and high/low temperature alarms is a valuable tool for maintaining food safety. The extra sensors and alarms are particularly useful features. However, accuracy, sensor cord length, battery life, and durability are important considerations. However, great for out intended use!

If you want to use this to alert you if your refrigerator/freezer stops working. It won't work. It measures ambient temp and indoor temp. There is one plug for the temp probe, for the inside fridge temp. The alarm only alerts to the ambient temp (who cares). I need to know if my food is going to spoil.Besides that, the alarm is only audible for 60 seconds, not likely to hear that is it's a secondary unit in your garage or something.

I ordered these because I just got a used fridge/freezer, and my ice cream was too soft, but the other items in the freezer were frozen. I wanted to check to see what temps it was holding or fluctuating. The thermometer is confusing at first (some other reviews give good descriptions). The wording in instructions is weird, but it is pretty easy to figure out. The OUT temp is what the end of the corded thermometer will read IE the part you are going to leave in the freezer. The IN temp they refer to is what the actual devise you mount or sit somewhere will register, ie whatever the temp is in its environment. In my case, this is the garage temp. You can set this to alert/alarm if it gets above AND below a certain temp. For mine I set it to alert if my freezer gets above 8 degrees F, and below -8 degrees F.Now it says it is supposed to alarm. And others have noted it is pretty quiet. But when I set it, you could see the number for "above" 8F flashing aka alerting because it was in my kitchen. No alarm sounded. I never heard an actual alarm even when watching it start to flash several times. It is ONLY supposed to alarm for 60 seconds, so I might think I just missed it. But I was looking right at it several times it happened. However, out of nowhere, it did actually start making an alarm sound. I cannot say whether it is consistent because it is in my garage and it has to be pretty quiet inside to hear it from inside. This doesnt matter because I honestly do not wanting to waking me up or anything. And there is no way to turn the alarm on and off. I just plan to check it once in a while just to see what is happening. It is working for that purpose because for about the last 36-40 hours it has been registering my freezer at 18-23 degrees each time a check it. So something is wrong. I just do not know what or how to fix it. But at least I know for sure. So this device did exactly what I needed it to.

Build quality is ok.Nice to have an internal temp sensor and an external plug in sensor.Functions well but accuracy is a bit off.Magnet strength is not the best. Not a bad option for the money.
