My extended cab quarter window broke and need replacement. I had the options of heavy duty clear silicone, rtv gasket maker, and one more that is evading my memory for this application. My classmate told me about his experience with this product. The malleable ness and flexibility was the deal breaker for me. Not only was it easy to work with, it's weather proofing and sealing properties worked great. It withstands temperature fluctuations like winter snow parked in the roadway and summer heat in the desert. I had a bit of difficulty installing it because it wasn't sticky but that was due to where I live and the time of day. That day was 48° F with wind chill of 5 -10° colder. To alleviate this I just start the truck and placed it near the heater vents till I liked the consistency and viola made things doable. After installing the window and weather stripping I sprayed the area with the water hose off and on for two minutes and no leaking on the inside whatsoever. This was a great referral and unquestionable results.

Used it around the back edge of my new car speakers and the speaker bracket. Made a nice tight seal.

Seals as well as I might have expected. Easy to use, and not overly sticky on your hands. Would buy again.

Purchased to replace the original butyl sealant that holds on the plastic water shield inside a car door panel. I had remove the door panel a few times for repairs and the original sealant was no longer doing the job. Bought this to replace the original sealant. Removed most of the old sealant and applied a bead in the same place as the old sealant. Did a great job sticking the plastic water shield onto the door. May need it again for another door in the future. 13 feet should be enough to do 2-4 doors, so it was plenty for my need.

This is a good size to keep on hand. Now if you're doing bigger job I would tell you to buy a lot more but that's not what I bought this for. I have some spots where it's not holding anything it losses stickiness over the years. Now it does it will make it a lot easier to finish what I'm working on.It's easy enough to use it's a good value just to have it on hand.

The tape was about 5/8" thick in some parts and 1/4" in others. Because of this, it leaked and did not compress right.
