Good quality handle and head, once sharpened I split 5-6 10†x 12†logs into kindling with no problem and only had to graze it a couple times with a file to sharpen it right back up

Got this after our last camping trip because the one we had was pathetic and we needed one that would actually be useful. This axe is fantastic quality and very well made and sturdy. Hubby played around with it and says he is impressed at how comfortable and easy it is to use. It's not too biz, but it gets the job done very well. The sheath is very good quality as well and the sharpening stone is a lovely addition. Everything comes very nicely packaged and is very presentable. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend this axe.

Overall excellent quality, well sharpened carbon steel. Basic outdoor use. The leather belt loop and blade protection cover are average quality. Handle looks to be hickory.

Spend your money and buy a better quality. This didn’t even last a few uses. Supposed to be a solid, durable handle but it’s not.

You only get hatchet and sheath, you do not get sharpening stone, nor belt sheath. I was disappointed. Especially since it was a gift for grandson.

We often go camping and often have campfires. We also often pick up broken branches and logs from the wild to make walking sticks or sculptures. This axe is the perfect size and weight, and the blade can be sharpened using the included whetstone. Highly recommended for outdoor campers.

It is shorter, lighter, and lends itself to use with just one hand. It is great for chopping small branches to splitting wood to skinning branches or wood of bark. It comes with a holster ring for your belt and also a blade sheath, easy for using at outdoors.

Nice little hatchet for hiking. Always have it with me while in the bush. Wont hurt to sharpen a little when it arrives but nice product and quality for the price.

Since my last camping trip, I’ve been searching for the right axe, and this one is perfect. It has the right weight and size. It can also be used as a hammer. The sleek design looks cool when worn, and it gives a great sense of security. I find myself really loving this tool.
