There's not a lot to say about this copper foil tape. It gets the job done without causing any problems while I was working. I like it, and I'll be buying more, but there's nothing special about it.

I prefer working with a slightly thicker foil for ease and stability and it is difficult to find the thicker foil. I usually use Edco but they didn't have silver-backed so I tried this brand because I needed that.It is the worst foil I've ever worked with so far and I have foiled thousands of pieces in my lifetime. It does not behave like the thicker foil, in fact it seems incredibly thin and crimps and twists on itself incessently and sticks to itself as it unrolls. I typically hand-foil for preciseness but thought I would try the foiler that came with this pack. I also use a flat foiler occasionally. The paper backing sticks to the top layer of the foil underneath as it unrolls and leaves paper on the surface of the foil and is impossible to keep fed through any foiler. It also crimps at where this year happens and pulls away from the tape. I ended up having to hand foil all my pieces with this roll anyway, having to scrape off the paper as I foiled and keep having to untwist way more than is typical. I'm hoping this roll is just a bad one and the other 3 rolls I ordered are not like this! What a pain in the butt.

This tape is easy to use and great to add to cut china pieces when cutting old pieces of china to turn into pendants, earrings and more. Works great!

This silver backed foil works perfectly. It sticks to my stained glass and burnishes easily itch out tearing. It accepts the flux and the solder too. I love this on my translucent glass when I am planning on keeping the silver solder as is without giving it a patina. It looks so professional and I love it. It does come with an inexpensive burnisher if you don’t already have one and also includes two rolls which is enough to keep you busy for awhile
