These say "not for pool use" but it measures the chlorine very well. I think it's a great alternative for thoes expensive pool test strips.

I make my own HOCL for cleaning my veggies and NeilMed bottle! I read that DIY solution can last a week but I only save for 5 days and now I can test at start and on 5th day if any left!FYI: I use a USB generator I bought on Amazon

If you ever need to sterilize your well with chlorine, buy the strips. They make the job so much easier. It’s much better than sniffing the water to smell for chlorine as most people do. You can actually use chlorine. The chlorine is there and fairly high levels before you can really smell it well

some water born diseases can survive over 200 ppm FAC. when sanitizing things, it is helpful to have the right amount of chlorine to kill the stuff with out it encapsulating where it can survivethat is how i use theseif you don't understand, look up sanitizing water correctly.
