I have a 1997 Chevy custom conversion van. The auto repair shop in my hometown said he could not find this part anywhere that was guaranteed. I found it very easily with an Internet search, it came up on Amazon, which I was happy about! my van was having a problem starting it was hitting miss like it needed a tuneup come to find out it was this part which had to do with anti-theft Chevy no longer makes this part so you have to find a reputable dealer that rebuilds them. The auto shop had no problems installing this and coding it to my van did not have to replace key fobs or anything else. If you need the security controller this is the company to get it from.
