We recently adopted a corn snake and created gecko. While both these reptiles don’t need uvb evidence shows it helps them. The light has an easy to read instructions and will dim and brighten automatically to replicate sun rise to sunset. It doesn’t generate heat. This brand seems like a decent value and performance but I haven’t any other experience in the world of reptile lighting. I have read a lot about it at least haha

Ok, I felt compelled to write a review of this product since there are a few things that should probably be made clearer. Overall, it seems like a nicely built light with plenty of brightness for my needs (Leopard Gecko).However, there are some dislikes, the first is that you cannot adjust the length of time the light is on for, it’s 14 hours and can’t be changed as far as I can tell. (*Update it cannot be changed)The next is the UVB output, I tested it with a cheap UVB card, and it did not show any purple color even when up close to the light.And lastly it would be great if the light naturally dimmed down to zero at the end of the day like the sun versus only larger (10-20%) incremental steps. To be fair this does appear to be illustrated in the product details.*****Updating to 5 stars, since the product is made very well and does everything I need it to now.Update to my original review. After messeging the seller they verified this light can operaterate from a 0-10v control as well. I was able to pair this with a 0-10v zigbee control and have my home automation gradually adjust the light on my preferred schedule. Although the cheap UVB card did not seem to indicate UVB, the seller assurured me they are fully tested and provided additional images. They did also reach out again to make sure I was satisfied, so 5 stars on customer service.

This reptile light seems very well made. Ive been using it for about 2 months now with no diodes burning out. The dimmer/timer could be a little bit better designed, nevertheless, it works perfectly fine. The only issue is if the power flickers or goes out, the light/timer will reset and it swithces to 100% on. Overall it is a decent light for a decent price.

Works well as a combo grow light and UVB for my emerald tree skinks. I tested it with a solarmeter, it produces UVB as advertised.

This 27" light was perfect for my 120 gallon bearded dragon tank. It fills the tank with high quality UVB and visible white light. The pre-programmed timer settings make scaling the UV intensity from sunrise to sunset effortless! I was pleasantly surprised the package included all mounting hardware required so I was able to set it up immediately. My bearded dragon has more energy than ever before now that she has realistic lighting!
