It might not be fair to be removing a star for this but the case came with the lid broken off. The inserts work as intended but not ideal too have the container the way it is. Not sure if this is packing on Amazons part or the manufacturer. The inserts themselves work fantastic. I've used them in high stress situations already and all have held up amazing. Easy to use and durable

These are way better quality then the ones that you can get at the big box home stores, and I love that they come in a variety container. I'm way less likely to lose them, lol. Used them in a project creating an underdesk keyboard drawer for the wife. Worked perfectly, and hold much more securely than simply attaching straight to the MDF.

Overall, for the price, if you need this stuff even a couple times it pays for itself. But there are a few downers with this particular assortment. Specifically, the various sizes do not list a drill index, so finding the right hole size in your drill index takes a little bit of trial and patience. Would be really nice if each size nut-cert had a drill chart for diameter and depth. Secondly, the inner threads are a bit how shall I say...cheap. Lots of burrs and crap inside these things that requires cleanup before you can screw in your bolts. Finally, the Allen wrenches that come with the set to screw these into the wood are almost useless. You are guaranteed to thread these in sideways if you use the included Allen wrenches, so you must use proper long handled Allen wrenches, or T-handles. Otherwise, it is a nice variety of diameters and depths and overall, good for what you are paying. If you get two uses out of this set, it pays for itself.
