I waited for this, and finally ordered this weight, when I got tired of waiting. My mount needed all of the 34 lb to balance the two refractors I was using.

It's a 7.7 pound kilogram weight identical to the one included with many Celestron telescopes (such as the ones in the CGEM series). I'll give it 5 stars for doing such a good job at being a 7.7 kilogram weight. The screw for tightening it on the rod is rubber tipped so it grips on the rod really well.
