I bought these to use with cedar shingles. The shingle manufacturers specifiy to not use electro galvanized fasteners, but try finding anything but those at the big box stores. Hot dipped galvanized would have been acceptable, but stainless steel is even better. These work perfectly in my Metabo staple gun, and although staples may not be the perfect fastener for cedar shingles, the shingles are used only on a small offset gable end so they worked perfectly for this diy-er.

Works well in my M18 crown stapler. Used 1 1/4' staples to secure 1/2" cedar boards to aged native wood. Only 1 misfire in over 150 staples

They're even stronger than many other neodymium magnets I've bought. Seriously strong magnets for their size.

The staples are stainless steel and the kit provides a good variety and a nice price point. However, the glue that holds the staples together into a clip is very weak. I ran several sizes through my Husky air stapler and found the clip of staples fell apart inside the stapler. That caused jams and feeding issues. I have run many clips of brand-name galvanized staples through this stapler with no problems. I am currently trying to add some adhesive to the clips to get them to stay together in the stapler. Buyer beware these may jam your stapler.
