It was easy to set up. I needed to split the signal for sound to go to the TV speakers and my hubby’s Beats ear buds. Worked like a charm after reading instructions. Sound also goes to my hearing aids through a special program. Everyone is happy!

I used this on my TV to split the optical audio out cable. I needed it because I have a new hearing aid device I wanted to connect to and also connect to a sound bar. The sound quality is great on both.

Tried these to adapt a single Fiber Optic Output from my TV to a couple of sources, my original A/V receiver connection and a recently acquired Soundbar. Worked fine. No switching required, just turn on one or the other speaker source. No power adapter, just plug and play.

It needs to be understood that this item cannot control two same items at same time, e.g. two headphones cannot be used at same time, both will not work if connected to splitter. This splitter is used for two unrelated items such as a head set and surround sound or a head set and a auxiliary video but not two headphones.

Even though this didn't work for me, it might for others, but I did want to note that the Customer service is excellent! Thank youOriginal ReviewThe point of a splitter is because you need a signal sent to different devices. Unfortunately, this fails at that task. Not thinking a splitter would be an issue I plugged in the original device to 1/2 the splitter and 1/2 to the new device; tested the original device which still worked. So far all seemed good, but then it was a fail no matter what I did with the new device. Unplugged the splitter and plugged the speakers in directly and they worked! Okay, so maybe the speakers won't work with a splitter, to test that I removed the original device from the splitter and switch the new device and the original device. This time the device I KNOW has been working fine NO longer worked, and the new device was able to get sound. Swapped it back and yep, the opposite happened. So one side of the splitter does not work. :( How frustrating for a simple quick thing that took way to long and now I have to deal with returning it.

Mon téléviseur ne comporte qu'une seule sortie optique, ce qui semble la norme, et j'avais deux utilisateurs de ce signal. je devais donc me procurer un doubleur. Ce dispositif a l'avantage de ne nécessiter aucune alimentation électrique. Il s'insère sans difficulté dans la sortie du téléviseur, et y raccorder les deux utiisateurs se veut un jeu d'enfant. Les trois branchements tiennent bien, mais comme je n'ai pas à les déconnecter, vous m'excuserez de ne pouvoir vous assurer qu'ils résisteraient à de multiples manipulations. Je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à formuler. Les deux utilisateurs du signal dédoublé fonctionnent à merveille.

I used it to take the fibre optics out on my smart tv and one output went to fibre optic in to stereo for 5 point 1 sound surround and second fibre for Bluetooth wireless transmitter for headphones,and it’s been working great
