Entirely adequate optical cable - I was looking for something cheap that would connect an old speaker bar for which I couldn't find the original cable. This was easy to install and has worked well without any issue.

The holding portion is too wide so it did not go into my epson projector. Also having a bit longer head could have helped..Sound quality seems to be good. Works with Dolby surround..
