needed a outlet box that was thin enough to fit in the gab between two trellis and this fit perfectly. With the metal support on the side, made it real simple to hammer in place and fix with a couple of wood screws. The knock out holes, one in each corner, made it easy to run the wire. Perfect box.

Works great and is awesome to use when you have to remove old J-boxes that don't align with your drywall, ensuring your lights and outlets are flush.

Review for Stackable Plastic Shopping Baskets, Red and Blue, Easy-Grip Handles for Grocery, Retail, Liquor Stores, Home Use (4-pack, Blue).I don't trust heavy ceiling fans to a plastic box. Use one of the very sturdy, all metal (and more expensive) ceiling fan boxes sold at your local building supply store. This plastic box, however, is useful for installing ceiling lights where you need some adjustability. For example, you want to make sure the light is centered over a vanity or table. The price point for this box is attractive for the adjustability factor. The box is for new work.

Ice installed several ceiling fans as a advid DIYer. This is the first mount that I seen with just 2 holes and a little over an inch mounting flange. Usually the mounting flange has four or more holes, there or four inch flange, and holding stakes to hold in place. This is definitely a cheaper version of a typical mount. It made installing the bracket a little more difficult to screw in holes in the attic being so small and close together. Hopefully the mount can hold the weight of the fan, fingers crossed

This Gang PVC Round Ceiling Bar Hanger Electrical Box allowed me to place a fixture in an area I had no power. Placed it in my ceiling and it’s holding very well. Very easy to install.

I got a blue round ceiling electrical box that's 4 inches in diameter. The box is made of PVC and comes with a ceiling bar hanger bracket. I can position the electrical box anywhere on the bracket. When I look inside the box, I see it's ETL and Intertek listed, and I notice it's marked as a 4-inch box with a volume of 20 cubic inches or 328 cubic centimeters. But I'm old school and don't trust an all-plastic box to support the weight of a ceiling fan, so I'll use it for light fixtures only.
