I used this box to create a multiplug so I could have several machines plugged in on the job site at the same time. This is sturdy and gets banged around but takes it easily. It is nice to be able to go from machine to machine without having to switch plugs all the time.

This is a great product at a fair price. As a contractor I use these often. I purchase them on Amazon cheaper tan I can at a big box store and they get delivered right to my door. I have purchased these several times and will purchase many more in the future.

In lots of boxes like this you can't knock out the smaller half-inch knockouts without risking knocking out the larger three-quarters knockout. I had no trouble getting the half-inch one out, and the three-quarters stayed pretty strongly attached. The dimple for the ground lug made it easy to use the conduit for equipment ground. Also appreciated the pre-drilled holes for mounting. The holes are pretty far apart on the top and bottom so you can get a good anchor into a stud with plenty of leverage.

The best part about this 4 inch box, is that it’s extra deep. When you’re trying to fit # 6 wire into a NEMA 50 Amp outlet, you need the extra depth!
