This is a nice soldering/desoldering setup with automatic heat gun shutoff. The heat gun also continues to blow cool air for several seconds when hung up, so it doesn't overheat the housing. The heat gun holder can me mounted to either side. The soldering station portion can move independtly of the main unit. I found that the little holes in the soldering gun do NOT fit the soldering gun tips included. The tips also don't have a lip on them like the Weller brand, so simply drilling those holes larger isn't a solution since they will fall right through. In short, there is no place to store the soldering tips.Likewise, there is no storage place for the heat gun tips, solder roll, or tweezers. I'll have to 3d print holders for all these things. If you can get past the oversight on the lack of accessory holding features, then this could be a good starter unit if on sale. The heat gun heats up quickly and has a steady output with temperature readout on the main unit.

You know what, for the price, this thing is great. I’m an occasional hobbyist who needs to repair SMDs and this thing just works. Air temp buttons are quick, fan speed dial is handy.? The soldering iron is a bonus. I have an entry weller and this iron is just as capable.

The rework station worked perfect, had no problems with that. The soldering iron though, might as well not be included. I thought it would be cool to have one thing to do both instead of having two separate plugs for a soldering iron and the rework station. But I had to give up on the soldering iron after messing with it for so long, I just decided to plug in my cheap one that I had already been using. I don't know if the temperature calibration on it is off or what, but I cranked it over 400C and it was still not melting the solder that my other one melts at 350-360C. At that point, I decided not to trust it going any hotter and just disconnected it and went back to my old one. At the price, it is still basically one of the cheapest rework stations on here, so even if I never use the soldering iron it came with again, I guess it is still kinda worth it since that part worked fine.

I was expecting this to be junk based off of only having vine reviews and the price point. However, I was proven wrong and the rework station works very well so far with no issues. Hot air heats well and the temperature also seems accurate. I will update after more use.

This does feel surprisingly like a fairly solid and professional setup, at least to someone who's only owned low-end soldering guns, irons, and heat guns. I liked the idea of combining some of those in one workstation, but it doesn't eliminate the need for the other more portable versions. It does have the most adjustability of any I've used over the years and heats up quickly. I didn't care for the included solder or the stiff cord on the iron since a more flexible setup would've moved easier and I wouldn't have burned a finger. What it was missing was a desoldering pump or even wick, and it needed a better sponge, but at least one was included as shown. Everything worked as expected and the under-$40 price at time of order is about what I'd expect to pay for this after having used it a few times.
