*Edited* read till the end. The bit lasted 5 minutes or less. Beyond disappointed. The bearing on the bit fell apart. Used once briefly to see what it would do on a scrap piece of steel. Then I tried on my project and poof. When they read my review, they almost immediately reached out to me and wanted to make things right. They sent more parts than I actually needed to fix the issues!!They had the parts in the mail before I could reply to them and say “Thank youâ€!I haven’t tried it again yet. But confident it will be fine. The customer service was beyond incredible. I wish more companies were like this.I originally gave low ratings and edited for great service!

I have a co-worker who has this exact item in his tool box. I frequently ask to use this tool because using a straight grinder with a cone carbide burr is messy and leaves chatter marks. This tool gives a nice bevel to the part and you can adjust the height in which how big or small you want the chamfer to be. I would probably only use this tool for medium to large parts. Any part that can fit in the palm of my hand I would use my straight grinder.

I bought this for deburring sheet metal. Unfortunately, nowhere does it say the minimum thickness this is rated for until after you buy it. In case you were wondering, the minimum thickness it can deburr is 3 mm thick plate (which works out to .118", so realistically 10 gauge metal would be the thinnest it could work with). It does do a decent job on the thicker plate I've tested it with, but it's pretty aggravating when the tool won't work with the thickness of metal you need it to, and you had to buy the darn thing in order to find that out.Minimum thickness of the metal it can deburr is a critical measurement, and should be listed in the for sale ad. Not a single one of these things for sale on Amazon lists that information. If you're looking to deburr sheet metal, look elsewhere. This, and all the other similar design chamfer and deburr tools won't work with sheet metal.

This tool is unusably loud.I'll ignore for the minute that the bevel is way to short, even when adjusted. This bevel may be good for sheet metal work, or easing an edge so you don't get cut, but if you want a bevel for weld penetration, this is not the tool for you. (But this is just a comment, not a complaint.)The reason I am giving it a low rating because the tool is unusable. I have number of pneumatic tools. The db rating on the tool must be more than an F16 with afterburners on. Worse, the pitch is so high that using it without ear protection will likley cause immediate hearing damage. I have to imagine this tool would clearly fail any OSHA testing. And even if you wore hearing protection (and they better be very good ones at that), everyone around you will go deaf.

Could use a little more power but works well . Good for chamfering holes or even profiles . Good to keep checking set screws and handle pin as they can come loose

The actual tool and performance is great. no quality issues or disappointment with its functioning. The only negative is that this tool is loud, extremely loud. It's a high pitched turbine sound that requires the user to wear hearing protection,...and it's not optional.I run 40+ tools, electric and air powered big and small but this is the loudest tool (when running and not engaged with the work piece) that I now own.I would recommend to the manufacturer that they design a muffler type accessory that can dampen the sound of the air exhaust to something more tolerable (and safer).
