This is my favorite seam ripper. Thin bladed and sharp. Love these.

The seams I had to rip were the ones where there’s stitching through the elastic perpendicularly, so never has been easy, in my opinion. I may have needed a needle that was even more fine, but I know my aging vision didn’t help things. The handle is okay, but if I had more seems with that level of difficulty, I’d want something better designed ergonomically.I don’t plan to buy another one as it’s adequate for typical tasks

I like the fact that this ripper has a nice large handle and nice sharp point. Because it is larger it is more comfortable to hold onto and I am less likely to lose it. I have lost a couple of smaller ones in the past.I have found that this ripper works perfectly for ripping general sewing projects with a regular sized stitch length, say at a setting of 2.0 on my sewing machine.Cons: If I am trying to undo stitching for a paper piecing project which has a stitch length of say 1.4 or 1.6, I find that this ripper is not fine enough and I really struggle to correct mistakes made during these projects when using this ripper. Also the cap is small and does not secure onto the other end of the handle (ie: like a pen cap), therefore the cap must remain lose, making it easy to lose. The cap is pretty necessary for storage since the end is sharp, so even though I haven't lost the cap yet, I know it is somewhat inevitable which i find unfortunate.

I used to use a purple ergonomic seam ripper, but after I left it in a hot car, the rubbery surface became a sticky lint magnet. So I purchased this Clover seam ripper as a replacement. I love it! This is the perfect seam ripper. It's small, but fits my hands perfectly. The molded plastic handle is attractive (looks like wood) and is quite comfortable to hold. The ripper is very sharp and slides easily through a stitch. Last but not least, the clear plastic lid on this seam ripper is very sturdy and fits snugly--I don't have to worry about it falling off. I'll be purchasing another of these seam rippers to keep on hand as a backup.

It's good. Comfortable in the hand, larger than the next competitor for more control. The blade rips thread easily. Buy this one.

Really sharp, delighted with this. I have a little stash of stitch rippers, from various Amazon sellers. I think they are a necessary item for beginner or experienced sewist and not too expensive either. Depending on the project I am doing, depends on what size I use, so if possible, it's a great idea to have a few sizes to choose from, I love these vital sewing 'tools'! A small ripper is perfect for delicate projects and a bigger one for stronger fabrics/stitches. A small ripper used on strong fabric/stitches could possibly break the ripper and a big ripper used on delicate fabrics/stitches could possibly damage that 'project'. I've been a sewist for 40+years and am going by experience. Arrived within the delivery time slot, very pleased all round.

Clover 81627 Seam Ripper - 5 inch. Super Naht-Auftrenner. Klare Kaufempfehlung.Präzise Qualität. Baulich klein.
