Rubber Washer
There is rubber washer ensures a tight, leak free water fill float valve kit.
Wing Nut
There are two adjustable parts of this water float valve for water tank. You can unscrew the wing nut and refasten the wing nut to adjust water level; you can also use wrenches to unscrew the bolts and refasten the bolts (wrenches are not included in the package) to adjust this 1/2 inch float valve to fit different spaces.
Larger Float
This float shutoff valve has larger float, will shut the water off completely with water pressure at 60psi.

This is way more adjustable than the original float valve that Stainless Steel Automatic Water Dispenser. supper good, my auto water station doesn't over flow anymore. thanks

I bought a stainless steel water bowl for my goat shed a couple years ago. It was equipped with a plastic flat valve which doesn’t last through. Old weather. I replaced it several times with the plastic ones because they were cheaper but you get what you pay for. The plastic ones will crack in the cold weather and the water bowl will overflow. I ultimately replaced the plastic valve with this one and so far so good. It lasted through the cold weather so far. Still have a couple months of Northern CA winter. Will update if it fails on me but I’m optimistic.

Does the job but could use a little more adjustability to insure positive shutoff at lower tank levels.

I have this on a water barrel for watering plants. After the water level reached the top of the tank it did not shut off. I cleared the valve to make sure that there was to trash in valve, was not. Put the second valve in place but it did not shut off either. As a result I have ordered another style valve with a screen to make sure no trash gets into the valve.

Be aware, this is NOT a standard hose size, so you have to have a 1/2" female adapter on your hose to make this work. Also, this one leaked terribly as the float doesn't really shut off the water supply completely. Hard pass

I purchased 2 as they were cheap and I’m using the second one now. Corrosive water seems to destroy, but worked as expected
