I ordered these desk mounts to be able to use them with my LED lights when taking product photos for reviews. They work very well for that and are very well machined. They feel very solid and some nice touches, like having silicone pieces for both parts of the mounting clamp. The lock down tightly and my LED lights, which aren't terribly heavy, feel very secure on them.They come with cell phone mounts that are made of solid plastic. They seem durable and I like that they aren't spring loaded but use a threaded knob to tighten and loosen the part that holds the phone. It, also, comes with a couple of ball heads but they are pretty lightweight and I wouldn't trust much on them. The only thing that I didn't expect is that you can't rotate the any of the sections. Typically, with light stands you can rotate the upper section so that you can have your light facing the direction you want. With these, you cannot rotate them so you have to loosen the light mount and rotate the light itself. It's not a deal breaker but wasn't something I expected.All in all, I would call this a good deal for this package.

Liked the strong construction, extendable and contractable feature with useful connections to work out of the box. Well thought out package. I had to figure out the connector as it appeared to be a limitation that the barrels cannot rotate; but the connector does when loosened. Therefore it can actually be oriented many ways.

Just as advertised. Strong, supportive and with the adapters, usable with many different devices. With a minimal footprint on my desk, I find this mount indispensable. .
