Inexpensive, easy to use, and kept my DSLR camera dry outside in 90 minutes of rain and drizzle taking pictures along the coast

This is a lightweight rain, drizzle, snow solution for outdoor photography. It will work to keep water off of the camera, but if you are not careful, the seams could pull apart or split open when inserting the camera. A good thing this cover comes in a two-pack. There are strings with a lock button to cinch the openings closed around the lens and bottom of the camera. The small size is plenty big for a smaller camera. I actually fit it on my full size camera, but would not recommend doing that. Even with the smaller cover on my full size camera, I was able to move the dials and zoom the lens in and out. It required some careful maneuvering, but is possible. Keeping a lens hood on your lens will help keep the lens drier, giving a bit more distance between the edge of the plastic cover and the edge of the lens.Keeping a lens cloth handy will be helpful for any water that may get past the cover to the lens.

Shot a few outside events during storms and drizzle. As a photographer this helped a lot

I shoot mostly video and have a top handle and monitor, so this isn’t the best for me but when I took pain staking time to set this up… it worked perfectly and shoot multiple games in pouring rain and all good! But after 3-4 uses in heavy in the rain it got hard to see the screen. If your shooting photo only, probably will take less time to setup! Would recommend but not for daily use.

I ordered these couple days before an outdoor event that I was set to film and I am so glad that I did, Because it rained. Stop filming was not an option, rain started pouring the day I was on a job outdoors, so happy that I had ordered these the day before, They protected my camera and lens from the heavy rain (Tip Use a lens hood to get the best protection)

This did not secure tightly to the lens, which allowed water to get past. It was ok when it was a very light rain, but not great in anything else.
