This lid fits perfectly to my kitchenaid 5 qt. Mixer, it's easy to play in with you. It's a little bit of a pain to put on the mixer. I feel like it's a pretty good quality so far. I haven't had any issues. It's easy to clean up.It's a good value for the money, and it seems like it seals really well.

Works great. Goes on the 4.5 qt bowl (recently bought) no problem; but the 5 qt bowl (the one that came with our mixer) is a little tight to get the large ring on. It still fits fine once you get it on, but can be tricky. Overall, love them. Helps keep the bowls cleaner and the attachments in the bowls nicer. Certainly recommend.

Measurement was close so I took a chance. It does actually fit on the bowl to my Hamilton Beach Eclectrics 63221 4.5 quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer fairly well. Not super tight but does clip onto the bowl and works as intended. The inner removable center does not fit as tight as you would ordinarily want for an air tight bowl cover even though it does fit the opening of the outer ring, I just would not consider or trust it to be an air tight lid. Good for rising dough and/or simply keeping dust etc out of the bowl.

It attaches to my mixing bowl nice and tight The internal opening is just a perfect size. When I make butter they're really keeps the splatter inside it makes anotherwise messy process into a relatively mess free process. I like the fact that it has the little cover for the hole so when I'm not using my stand mixer I can put that in and it keeps the dust and dirt out of my mixing bowl. It's easy to use and a good value for the money.

Not gonna lie, I did NOT pay good attention and had no idea it had a scoop in the middle. 😂😂 Thought it was all one piece. Also, did not make sure it would fit my bowl, just happened that it does (phew). So yeah, if you're aware of all the things, then it's brilliant. And if you're not, it could be brilliant as well. 😂 Maybe make sure you have the right size bowl for this, at least. Price is great, it fits great, the scoop turns out to be awesome. I only weigh ingredients, so I'm not sure if you can use the scoop to measure? I just use it to dump things into the bowl for weighing. I've been using a little plastic thing, like a shower cap, as a cover. So when I saw this I jumped on it...without actually looking at it much. Long and short of it is - if you have the right size bowl and you are good with having a scoop thing in the middle (instead of one piece), this is entirely brilliant. I've put it on while mixing to keep flour from going all over the back of the machine when I kick up the speed, which is what happens with my current spout attachment. It's a little tricky to put it and the mixing paddle on, but not too complex. It did fine with the mixer running, plenty of room between the lid (sans scoop) and the paddle for rotation. And, of course, it worked great as a proving lid. Don't really need 2 of them. Have had the shower cap for a few years and it's falling apart, but I keep using it. I expect that will be the case with this, it has to last longer (I hope). Note that while the lid snaps on, the scoop piece doesn't really "lock" in, so you couldn't turn the bowl over with liquid in it. But I can't really imagine that being a scenario, so maybe not an issue? Also, have no idea how much of a seal the lid has on the bowl, so...maybe if you were traveling with liquid in there, it might leak? If you've got that scenario and are looking for leak-proof, I do not imagine this would work. But also haven't tested that theory. So there we go. Too long, more information than you need, probably. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk...or...whatever. 😊

Just what we needed for our mixer. They seem well made.

I have a Crux, and the plastic shield it comes with has two sliding areas that attach to notches on the mixer. The sliding compartments easily broke when I lifted my mixer head too quickly, the first time I used it. It was an easy mistake, I'd imagine a lot of people make it, yet they don't provide replacement parts. So, I ordered this double pack of shields. The Crux bowl is just over 8.5" across. This replacement shield is just slightly larger. So, it doesn't hug the bowl, but it stays in place perfectly when the mixer is used, shields ingredients as expected, doesn't fly up or wiggle around. My Crux Mixer's original shield is just a ring, with no middle, so it can't be used as a lid. The replacement shield here comes with a middle piece/bowl that fits snuggly into the outer ring, so it can be used as a lid for storage. Granted, it won't be a snug fitting lid on my mixing bowl, it's still helpful. This shield is smooth, slightly flexible hard plastic, very pretty leaves engraved on it. Comes with two shields and a bowl/center for each.I'd highly recommend

Does not fit 5qt stainless steel no lip bowl that comes out of the box with the artisan mixer. It's very hard to get it on and once you do it pops right off after a little bit

Finally a product that does what us says. Fits tightly on the 5qt stainless bowl and allows me to mix the bread dough without it flying around the room. Makes baking multiple loaves a pleasure.

They may look cheap and come in a ratty box, but functionality is 10/10. Way better than the guard that comes with a kitchen aid mixer!

I love my KitchenAid but it also drives me insane. The plastic shroud thing that comes with the mixer itself is the most useless piece of junk… flour still gets flung over the kitchen.I did not have high hopes for this. I half expected it would be another useless piece of plastic.. but I’m glad to say I was VERY wrong !This is awesome. Fits my mixer bowl like a glove. The scoop bit is good too and zero… I truly mean zero mess on my kitchen counter or mixer body. It’s flipping perfect !What’s even better is that you get two of them (I’ve actually got two mixer bowls…) so in my book, double awesome bonus.Given it works so well, it’s worth the money for one never mind getting two. Happy baking !
