Easy To Set Up
The remote control has been paired to the receiver when sealed in factory. You just need to power on the receiver with correct wire connection and install batteries to the remote control. That's it!
TO ACTIVE THE FAN RECEIVER
If the fan receiver is installed and wired correctly but you still cannot control your fan, please re-power on the receiver and, within 5 seconds, please long press the “Stop” button on the remote until you hear a short beep sound from the receiver, which means the receiver is activated.

These were surprisingly easy to install. On our fans, these fit nicely between the pole and the mounting bracket. On my fans, the pole is not "fixed". It rotates a bit at the top to avoid having the fan tear apart during normal usage. The remote unit fit nicely up there, which made re-attaching the cover fairly simple. The remotes worked right out of the box. They docs say they are paired at the factory, and that is true.

These were easy to install, programmed easily and work solid. Not very fancy, no dimmer on the light but for a fan these are very ideal and for the price unbeatable!

This replaced the remote that came with my ceiling fan with light. It stopped working. The dimmable light function no longer work. However, I am happy with this replacement because it turn the fan and light on. Makes a clicking noise each button press but works ok. Would recommend

Bought two of these for the ceiling fans in my bedrooms, the wiring diagram on the purchase page was accurate. And the instructions that were containing the package were easy to follow. I also was able to integrate these into my smart home using a device called a bond bridge, so now I'm able to control them with my smart devices which is a bonus as well. I don't have any more ceiling fans in my house but if I did I would be buying this device to add to them.

I previously bought two different brands of these ceiling fan remotes for my Hunter ceiling fan/lights. It's a super simple hookup, one wall switch controls both the fan and the lights so the wiring is basic (black/blue to black, white to white). Neither of the two previous brands worked. Who knows why? Quality issues, I suspect. Not expecting too much, I hooked this kit up, turned the power on and it worked just fine. The remote controlled the lights and the fan. Haven't tried the timer function because I won't use that. I then hooked up the second kit to another Hunter ceiling fan/light and it worked fine, also. Long story short, these work!

Unit was smaller than the one it replaced, so easy to fit in the fan. Seems to be working fine.Similar to another remote I have, if the room switch is turned off the unit resets to off. That is, if you turn on the room switch and turn on the fan (fan will be running), then turn off the room switch the fan will stop (of course) and when you turn the room switch back on the fan will still be off because the remote resets to the off position when the power to the switch is cut. This is just an fyi comment, I like this process just fine.It comes in a two pack. I only needed one so I just have to remember I have a spare for when one of the other remotes breaks down.
