This makes cutting fruit for my littles so much easier and faster than me cutting with a knife. Love this device!

I like kitchen gadgets that make my cooking easier. I liked the idea of these slicers making it easy but in reality not the case. I tried slicing a boiled egg and it just smashed it not sliced it. I tried several strawberries as well with the same result. I don’t know if the blades aren’t sharp enough or I am not doing it correctly since it did not come with any instructions although I think it’s self explanatory on how to use. Maybe I will get another type of slicer.

I eat and slice a lot of fruit, so I thought this could save me some time. Like everyone else has said, there are no instructions, but the images in the ad would seem to indicate you press the bottom on top of the fruit/egg and the cut pieces go into the cup. This would seem to make sense since it comes with a cover to hide the bottom blades. I tried using it on Kiwi first. Not successful, at all. Now, mind you, I didn't peel the Kiwi. I eat my Kiwi with the skin on. This little gadget couldn't cut through the kiwi skin, even after trying to gently rock it back and forth and kind of sawing like I would a knife. I tried cutting the skin a bit to ease the tension. That worked, it went through the kiwi fruit then stopped again when it got to the skin and just mushed. Okay. Not gonna work for me for Kiwi. Next I tried a strawberry. Again, this little device just seemed to struggle getting started. Maybe I'm not being forceful enough, but I also don't want to smoosh my fruit. I see that other's were successful in getting this to work for them, so I will keep trying, but for now it just doesn't seem like it will be sufficient for my needs. The blades just need to be sharper.

These slicers work great! This is such a simple thing, but they have saved my hands. Two of the things are are very hard for me to cut with my arthritis in my hands are strawberries and mushrooms. It takes me less than a minute to cut a plate of strawberries. I do suggest cleaning it right after use since it is hard to get in and clean well due to the size.. It is too thin to put my dish brush in, so I have to use another brush.on any pieces of food that may be stuck.

This little slicer comes with zero instructions. The weird thing is it feels like the sharp part of the metal is inside the cup, but I think you’re supposed to use it by putting it over the fruit and pushing it through. It doesn’t cut because like I said, the part is inside and not outside, though they have a thing to block the blades on the bottom part. It includes no instructions. Your guess is as good as mine. My son thought it was pretty to shove the strawberries through and eat the slices. Also, it’s so small. I’m not sure that a boiled egg would even fit through it to be sliced.Update. After just the second use the blade bent and popped off making it completely unusable. I was cutting strawberries

These are a cute gadget and coming as a two pack allows you to share. I wasn't wow'ed by the quality when I opened it, but they work well enough. And for under $4 each, it is the quality I would expect it to be.

I am a kitchen gadget kinda of girl. I bought these simply for that reason. I am not the biggest fan. They are not super easy to clean and honestly I find it easier and quicker to just cut the food with a knife.

These cute little slicers are such a simple yet effective idea. They effortlessly slice through strawberries, eggs, and other fruits and veggies with ease. When I first tried them on some strawberries, I had a pile of sliced strawberries ready in no time. Placing the strawberries on a cutting board and pushing the slicer right on top resulted in neatly contained slices inside the slicer. One of the best features is the safety aspect. There's only an exposed blade on the bottom, which means my 9-year-old can safely slice her own strawberries, hard-boiled eggs, and more without any risk. However, the only minor issue I found is that the slicers can only handle small objects. Larger strawberries or eggs might need to be cut in half to fit properly into the slicer. The slicers come in adorable colors and have a nice cap on the end to protect fingers when stored. Additionally, the manufacturer thoughtfully included two cleaning brushes, which make maintenance a breeze. These slicers are a great addition to any kitchen, especially for families with children. They combine functionality with safety and add a touch of fun with their cute design.

Great little tool for strawberries and other little items. Too small for eggs, by a country mile. We needed an egg slicer and this does not work for eggs. Even if they are small enough it wouldn't work for eggs as you need to tip the slices out, causing the egg yolks to fall out of the white and become a mess. Also quite expensive for a piece of plastic.
