I find these to terribly useful around the house and shop. I use them mainly when soldering plumbing in walls and when I need spark shields when cutting metal with an angle grinder, but I've used them under a small BBQ grill and just as great big potholders whenever I encounter something too hot to handle. They are very well made, especially for the price.
