They’re very easy to install and manipulate. Locking mechanism and keys work flawlessly if installed with proper alignment. Only thing I’d mention; the mounting screws are very very small. A flathead screwdriver would pop this out if its’ mount fairly easily. But without buying big chunky locks, this is the next best thing. Highly recommended.

Quality is good and well built. The only slight downside is that you have to have the key to unlock it. It won't close and remain unlocked. Once it is closed, it locks. Minor inconvenience is all

Overall, these are ok hasp locks, not super sturdy but good enough for my needs. I really needed more than 2 keys per lock and after contacting the seller was told no additional keys can be purchased. I spent some time and was able to find the key profile - the keys sent with my lock are ilco 1668 (the head is different but the key profile is a match). I wasn't able to get anyone local to copy the key so I purchased a small file set and simply filed the new keys (maybe 10 minutes total for 3 new keys) to a similar profile as the ones sent with the lock and everything worked. One note, DO NOT put your new key into the lock unlocked it could easily get stuck, test the new key with it locked to see if you are close enough to the cut.

Locks only keep out the honest people. That being said this lock works fine. Small but I needed a small one for this application. Easier than working with a pad lock. Good quality and value. Would purchase again. Revised 5/7/24; I lost one key and can’t find anyone who can make one. Now I only have one key so if I lose it I’ll have to break the lock off the door.

Dislike: 2 locks keyed different, so 2 keys for 2 locks on same box. Locks will lock as turned, needing a key to open( no lock open ability).Like: built well, good finish
