The brackets are supposed to be stainless. It does not even look like 304 SS. I am using in marine enviornment. They should work well but I would expect to see rust shortly. Delivery was great! Product as described.

These elastomer latches worked perfectly in my application. I used them to latch open a folding frame for a parade banner. They withstand the movement of the banner sections by keeping tension on the connection.

Had a cooler lid that just wouldn't stay closed, was meant to not have latches but needed them so I figured these would work. Did great until my son ripped the screws out on a fishing trip because he doesn't know how to be gentle with anything. Couple of stainless bolts and nuts and it's good as new. Definitely would recommend upgrading the screws but other than that they seem solid

Exactly what I was looking for. I have a Can Am ATV with a big rear cargo box. The latch is poorly designed so I added two of these rubber draw latches. OMG, great fit and now the cover stays snug. Great price for what you get. The rubber appears tough yet, it will stretch just right. Should last a long time.
