I put one in my living room and the other in a bedroom. My house is 5 degrees off in that bedroom. I need to add more attic insulation above that room. They work great.

This pair of CO and natural gas detectors is an affordable way to add a little safety and peace of mind in your house. My family primarily wanted extra security around the gas stove, and these work as a simple monitor and alarm.I haven't had a way to test for CO thankfully, but it does work for detecting explosives in the air (LEL). It has gone off once right next to the gas stove when it wasn't ignited on the first couple sparks, and once when spraying alcohol based cleaner right next to it - it set off the alarm quickly!The physical quality is good enough to hold up, but doesn't feel or look especially nice. Nor does it sound great, with fairly low quality voice recordings, but it gets the job done. The alarm isn't super loud and you could miss it if showering or playing loud music in another room, but it's certainly attention-grabbing enough for most circumstances and should be one more good safeguard to have.

These sensors are a great option for added peace of mind in any home. Easy to "plug-n-play". I highly recommend every home have a CO detector, and these are a great option!

I like this detector because you just plug it into a wall outlet. No need to deal with installation issues. Plus, two units are included in the box. I plan to use them in our motorhome, but I plugged one of the units into an outlet here at home just to check it out. There are clear digital readouts for room temperature as well as carbon dioxide and gas indicators. There is also a test button which will set off the alarm and flash some warning lights, which is what you would hear and see should a critical reading drift out of safe range.It's great that these units are so portable and can be moved and used almost anywhere. I may wind up leaving one here in the house since we do use a fireplace with gas logs.

These do not do smoke, but they do propane/gas detection. The alarm is loud enough if you are in the room, but may not be audible from across the house with the doors closed. This is a great device to use in conjunction with other smoke detectors throughout the house, because it adds CO (carbon monoxide) and flammable gas detection, which are both important to monitor for.Because they plug in, they are more of an early warning, there is no battery so power outages will render this ineffective.The flammable gas detection works. I tested it with a lighter by pumping the unlit gas into the inlet fins of this detector. Immediately it started to rise the PPM for gas and a loud beeping and voice alarm told me that a gas leak was detected.I put these in the furnace room and the laundry room. I feel better knowing that I am a little bit more protected from CO and flammable gas.

We have one of Teyuan’s look-alike CO monitors. It works well, but since these units combine CO and combustible gas (methane, propane etc) They double the versatility and safety.I tested these with a small release of natural gas and another small release of propane. With both gasses both detectors instantly went into full alarm mode—a stern voice message combined with flashing red lights. The most dramatic alarming on any of the dozen or so CO/combustible gas detectors I’ve seen 😊.Design, material and build quality are good. These are solid and relatively compact detectors. They sit flatter against the wall than many other similar units, and when plugged into the lower outlet, a small plug will still fit in the upper outlet. Larger plugs will not fit.Temperature reading is accurate. Humidity reading is about 10-15 percent lower than actual.Screen design and user interface are intuitive and functional.I would have liked the ability to turn off the display without turning off detection, but that isn’t an option.It’s smart to combine CO detection with combustible gas detection in one small device, which isn’t offered on many similar units.Recommended.
