Originally I gave these floats a one star review because they leaked but after reinstalling I found that they work perfectly so I now update to a great review.

I bought a two pack of these neither one of them would shut off correctly. they don't shut off at all unless you shut the water off and then turn the water back on you cannot leave them by themselves to shut water off. I would give this product of zero out of 10 absolute junk.

I installed it today in our horse watering trough and it went in quick and easy, just be careful to not drop the washer and strainer. We will see about it’s longevity.

These are fine, they work as they should, my only complaint is that the steel walls are very flimsy. I took off the plastic bottom to check how easy it would be to clean, and had a hard time getting it back on because the steel warps so easily. Otherwise, no concerns.

Hard water clogged my older valves these valves I imagine will be pretty much trouble free now that I have fixed the water softener. Forget the hassle let the auto valves do the job for you.
