This thermometer is very easy to install. The accuracy of the temperature reading is sufficient for everyday needs. A great addition to a gas grill that didn't originally have a thermometer. Satisfaction and a little joy for anyone who likes to grill. Of course, it can also be used for a hundred other purposes, such as measuring the temperature of chimney gases and the like.

Put these bad boys and my instant thermometer into warm and cold water to do tests repeatedly. It turns out that both are very accurate. Definitely recommend.

I don't know why the thermometers go out so fast on my grills and smokers. but it's good to know I can get replacement ones easily on Amazon

They showed this Gauge on a Grill very similar to mine but the gauge is So much smaller than the guage in the photo on Amazon. It's basically useless as a replacement for the Gauge(s) on my grill. This is my fault because I went by the advertised photo. I can't return them because Amazon already refunded the last Gauge (again went by the photo) that I bought. This actually might be a decent, probably accurate, gauge, but it is garbage now because I simply can't use it.

We bought a Weber kettle BBQ without a built-in thermometer built in because it was £80 cheaper than one with! For next to nothing I got these instead which work just as well by simply popping one into the top vent. I didn't even need two but I guess it's good to have a spare. To absolutely reassure you dear reader, I slow cook legs of lamb and whole chickens on our Weber so knowing the temperature is essential. These do the job perfectly. Buy them. :)

This is a replacement for the gauge on my barbecue which was damaged in the recent wind.The length of the probe had to be identical to avoid the Barbecue's internal folding shelf. Happily the gauge diameter is identical and the gauge display is much clearer than the original.As there were 2 in the box (a single unit was not for sale), I have a spare! Good value for money.
