I called multiple freightliner dealers and they had no idea what I was trying to replace in my truck come to find out this was a universal part which could be found in multiple applications and I was so glad that I was able to cross reference this part.This worked exactly for my 2019 Western Star 5700 XE.

Like th product. It appears to be sturdier than the one I am replacing. However, the locl is keyed to the standard CH751 key that are on most campers. That was not disclosed in the description. Looking for a lock replacement as I do not like having a lock that 99% of those camping have on their key-rings. Hoping the originating company has a lock they can offer. Note: Looks like all the similar locks use the same key.

These "STHang-D 2 PCs Compression Latch, Powder Coated Zinc Alloy Sealed Adjustable Lever Hand Operated Compression Latches Key Locking for Car Boat RV Door Cabinet Latch Lock, Black" were a direct fit replacement for my Class A Motorhome hood latches, I needed locking latches, and this was the answer.They are easy to install and operate and work great! I only wish that I could have found them in white like the ones I replaced but black doesn't look bad at all.
