Easy to install and all the holes lined up the way I hoped they would. The dust cover is great. I hope it holds up in freezing Temps. They have a solid snap that seals out the dust.

Used these latches on a horizontal side door on a home built trailer. Adjustable and keyed alike. Seem very sturdy and work well. Quality seems on par with the same style latches you might find on commercially available boxes and trailers.

Stainless steel is thinner then my original latches, with moderate Force I can fill the inside latching mechanism flex, and I don't think it would be hard for someone to pry it open because of this. I would consider these light to medium security.

It says right in the description (lock with waterproof cover) but the latch itself is not water proof, it’s for 2 small rubber seals that DO NOT. Seal, installed on my tool boxes only to have my tools soaked with water. Wouldn’t recommend
