I was hesitant about the coupler being plastic, but it's actually very strong and also light weight. I'm not fighting fires with this nor performing emergency rescues, but in a pinch, yeah, I'm sure this would do the job.I'm using this primarily to drain our hot tub and also fountain and it's absolutely worth purchasing, especially at this incredibly low price.It fit perfectly on our 1 1/2 submersible pump and sure makes attaching and removing an absolute breeze.

This connector works really well and is solid abs. Connected to another camlock with a tight seal. Used it for a pool/spa connection with high pressure and no leaks.

First mistake I made is not reading the dimentions.But this is NOT 2 inches. I think the smaller side is 2in, and the larger opening is 4in. The whole thing is huge, and it's not what I'm looking for. Gonna return it
