Tossed my toxic black-coated masher in the trash and after much perusing on site chose this pair. The one with the small holes I tried first and it was too difficult for me due to poor strength and joint problems, however, after using the traditional masher first I then used the one with smaller holes and it made the potatoes extremely creamy and fluffy, was beyond pleased. Handle is a great length for a functional grip I put the pan or bowl in the sink so I'm at a higher level and can apply more strength but that obviously isn't necessary if you don't have physical problems. Had a couple of friends in the past that used to use an electric mixer for their mashed potatoes and it made them like glue. This duo is non-toxic stainless steel, functional, and the only way to go!

These are sturdy for mashing potatoes/vegetables. The oval masher is smaller than I needed but will use for smaller batches of mashed potatoes. Easy to use and a great price!

Looks very well-made and easy to clean. Bought this for my granddaughter's first kitchen and she was very pleased.
