I pickled some red onions this last weekend, the process includes putting in and taking out mason jars from boiling pot of water. The canning jar lifting tongs made that part of the process safe and easy. The tongs lifted the jars without issues, sturdy and grabbed on securely.

The handle does not go all the way through and the funnel is small enough to go through a gatorade bottle.

The jar grabber is a really great canning tool. Works great and has very good grip.The funnel did not come with my order, which is why I gave 3 stars.

My husband just bought me the Presto electric canner. It comes with a rack in the bottom, so all i really needed was the tong tool and a wider funnel for putting my homemade soup into the jars. This was perfect as most all the other canning accessories kits had more things than I needed. Great value.
