I had to cut, sand and polish them, to fit my shower, depth wise. But they fit the 12 spline faucet end great, and actually shut my water off unlike the last cheapo handles provided by the homeowner. A little bit of time in the garage fixed it all without returns or waiting. Works good

It didn’t take long for the inside grooves to strip, making this handle useless. I’ve put on plenty of shower handles before so it wasn’t like it was my first time either.
