I bought this to provide backup power from my generator to my off grid all in one hybrid solar inverters when we have the occasional stretch of cloudy weather.I have 2 inverters that are both single phase 120v. I cut the jack end off the cable and wired it directly to the inverters, L1 to one inverter, L2 to the other, and sharing neutral/ ground to both.Something I noticed while wiring this to my inverters is the quality of the cable is better than others I've used. Since I cut into it, I can see insulation of the individual conductors, and this cable looks to be of higher quality. It's very flexible and has been working great for the last month I've been using it. Great value for the money!

Purchase this for an external connection for my portable generator. Works great - can power my whole house. Fit the sockets perfectly and snug. Would purchase again.
