I prefer this soil over the ones you can get at home depot or lowes. This is black soil with some sand, but is ALL SOIL. No wood or tons of perlite. It's moist enough to work with and easy to fill pots. I sometimes have to work it loose with my gloved fingers because it is lumpy but I would rather it be that way than dry as a bone.

I like the dirt because it’s has no weeds in it. Good for my garden/cuttings. I recommend it.

Dirt is dirt and this stuff works just fine. I used it for potted plants that sit outside on the deck and they're doing great so I'm sure this dirt is plenty good. Recommend!
