I bought a few different varieties of this item and this particular one was the best and only cost around 15 bucks. It maintained the settings in memory after the power was cut off, and the remote didn't interfere with my TV like others did and this one was the only one that included a holster for the remote. I would recommend this one over others being sold on this site.

So we bought this because our closet gets so warm as I take 20 min to throw clothes around and find something to wear. It was easy to put together, but dare I say TOO easy. Because as soon as you turn the fan part on the arms start flying unless you can manage to immediately turn the fan down as low as possible. The blades flew off 2x within the first week, and I have since stopped using the fan - which is obviously the most important part of this fan-light combo.To ease any concerns, the blades were clicked into the device as the instructions said, however, that click was not strong enough to keep those suckers attached when the fan started spinning away. Very reminiscent of sky dancers from the 90’s except more alarming and not what you want from a fan.2 stars because we cannot use the fan portion of the light. But the remote does have a lot of options. I’m not sure if this is an issue with the weight of the fan, the clicking function not working or what. Sad though.

This socket fan light was easy to put together and install. It really moves the air. I am using it and two others in my basement to keep it from getting too musty. The light is bright and adjustable. The fan speed is also adjustable.

This socket fan light really moves the air! I'm so glad that I got it and am using it in my basement where the air used to just be stagnant. One of the benefits to using this fan is that it was so easy to install. Furthermore, since I grow gourds and have to dry them out in my basement, air flow is extremely important. My gourds are drying faster this year since I've been using the fan. Less of the gourds are getting moldy. The light is very bright and I love that I can adjust the brightness.It would be nice if this had a switch to reverse the fan so that it would help the basement feel warmer in the winter. However, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Works perfectly out of the box. Super easy to install. The light is pretty bright for the size and choosing the color is a nice touch. The fan is quiet and moves a lot of air. Sometimes led lights don't last nearly as long as they are supposed to but as long the light holds up and doesn't burn out it is great.
