This pump has been excellent for the last several months. It works continuously, filters and pumps water through an adjustable release. The baby coi fish are doing great and no mosquitos are growing. It's a little taller than my juvenile pond, so i have to tilt it to get water through the inlet. The water inlet is at the top of the pump/filter. Great value, durable, came with extra filters, easy to clean, quiet pump, plug and play.

This worked great for my 20 gallon and cleared the water within five days!! The filter came fully assembled and I just had to pop it in my aquarium and turn in on, very easy! I have read some reviews about the battery dying out quickly. I have yet to experience this problem but would recommend buying extra bulbs just in case. I believe they sell four packs in their online Amazon store. 10/10 recommend for cloudy water from bacterial blooms! The pics are day 1 and day 6

This saved our tank! We set this tank up in January and had 2 good weeks before it started turning green and no matter what I did, I just couldn't get the water to come clear again. After some research I found this. I got is March 4th and put it in right away after 3 days I notices some improvements then finally after 4 more days the water was clear! I would give this a 5 star but my only problem with it is the power cord is short and the water outtake doesn't turn to a different direction, so where I put it, it blows right on the front of the tank. But definitely still worth it.

It does work! Keeps water clear and clean and is quiet and easy to maintain. However, after 3 months I noticed the water was getting murky. While cleaning the pump I noticed the UV bulb had stopped working. Expected it should last much longer than 3 months. I do not see a way to purchase a replacement bulb on the sellers site, so I guess I will have to find an entirely new pump.

Looking to keep those dirty gold fish aquariums looking clean and clear? This works great, but doesn’t last long. Ours stopped working at just before 5 months. We followed instructions, cleaned maintained. Thought this was our answer….Just replaced with a more expensive one from Petco hoping it last longer than this product.Update 12/24- company reached out, informed me product still under warranty and sent me a replacement bulb. Changed review to 5 stars, as that was great customer service.

We have always maintained and cleaned the unit per the instructions. I was really impressed while it was working as our tank was very pristine. But for the motor to stop working after only 4 months is a huge concern. I would advise to look elsewhere as this seems to be a common issue the more I read.Update 12/14/2024.Customer service was prompt in returning my inquiry for support. I was notified a replacement unit will be sent out shortly. Will update accordingly.
