No manual. No instructions. YouTube videos explain it, but don’t show you all the nuances. Tedious and slow, but it does sharpen the chainsaw. Multiple Chinese companies make this IDENTICAL product. Inexpensive.

I was not satisfied with how this worked . Took way too long to sharpen and too complicated.

Once I got it fastened in to the bar it was pretty easy to use, although I used round files instead of the twisty thing that came with it. This device acts as a sure guide for the file and provided accurate and consistent sharpness. This has been a game changer

I bought this thinking it would be faster at sharpening, but I still find myself using standard files between cuts. This product is meant for end of day sharpening for it is time consuming. The sharpening bit is questionable because it's one bit for different file size. My recommendation is to include separate file sized bits.Thanks.3 stars for time consuming... faster with standard fle touch up between cuts.

Far longer than using a file.- Might re-angle your links out of spec. Sharpens well, but puts a smaller angle on leading edge.I found that just using a gloved hand, pulling the chain through and alternating the hole for the sharpener for every other link worked best, instead of doing one side then doing the other. Ignore the swinging hinged piece that doesn't work right.I was able to get and old chain cutting very nicely again with this, but it was very tedious and took a bit of time to figure out how this thing worked, and that was with the terse instructions.

I could not find any replacement bits for this anythere. My hubby looked everywhere and so did I and we just decided to send it back.. It cost to much when there are no replacement bits!!
