Seems to work well. Used it on several saws. Just keep your angel correct

It works for what it is intended to do.how ever the wrench that came with it isn't the correct size to change the stones so you will have to get/buy a wrench that fits it.

This is basically a dremel tool with an attachment to guide chain sharpening. In the past I've used files to sharpen the chain but I wonder just how much harder is the steel file is compared to the chain tooth. A grinder seems to be a better option. I had to bend the metal guide to be parallel to the grinding tool. I placed the chainsaw blade on a 2 x 4 to keep the saw stable while sharpening. Lowest tool speed seems best. First grind seemed a bit deep into the tooth so I loosened the adjustment screw and shortened the depth. After a couple of teeth, the sharpening technique seemed natural and quite easy and was much faster and physically easier than using files. After sharpening, I checked the height of the depth gauge tooth and used this grinder to trim them to proper height. All and all. this system works quite well. After sharpening, I took my Husqvarna 435 out and cut some 4" hardwood limbs. Cut Great! The Oregon chain cut just as good as new... maybe better.

I'm lazy so this thing is perfect for me. I will never use a file again!
