I've found this glue gun will attach almost anything to anything else. We use it to repair computer components and to do our initial builds. The manufacturers of the hubs for fans, USB, and RGB use magnetic or adhesive strips as attachment vehicles for their products. Neither will keep the hub in place for very long. Also, many computer cases are extensively made from plastic, so magnetic devices are useless. Using this hot glue to do that attachment works great. I learned about these hot glue devices from a friend who makes jewelry. She uses it to create her pieces and attach the stones she may use. This glue gun is one of those things you'll never know how much use you'll get till you have it.

Despite a lengthy and confusing instructional pamplet, this is a good and simple glue gun; insert a narrow-gauge glue stick (a bag of them are included), plug in and let it heat for a few minutes, and then start squeezing the trigger to start and control the flow of liquid glue. There is a flip-down metal stand to keep the hot tip from touching anything while you are working. The trigger allows reasonable precise control. You can't work too slowly because the glue itself hardens pretty soon, but it makes good strong bonds with slightly porous materials. I had great results bonding stone to ceramics. Unplug and it cools down in a few minutes. All in all it's a good example of what I want from a hot glue gun, and not much to fail. Thumbs up.
