Great Glue Gun!Heats up quickly, feels comfortable in hand, and works cordless. The nozzle doesn’t overheat, and the glue flows smoothly. Perfect for working with various materials. A great choice for those who already have DeWalt batteries!

Works great as a glue gun. But heaven forbid you accidentally leave it on. It will drain your battery to the point of malfunction and it will be unchargeable. You will need to jump start the battery from another battery. There is no low power shut down circuitry. If you experience this same problem you will need to jump your battery to get it to charge again. To do this, take a good battery and connect the same leads together with a wire. Just a second or two will do. Then the battery will charge again. But the better option is not to accidentally leave it on. Or better yet…get a unit with better circuitry. But the price is great and the functionality is excellent (I’ve used it a LOT). So, if you can remember to cut it off…it’s a great unit.

My MIL has gone through so many glue guns because they break so easily. She has said this one is much easier to use and better quality. Easy to set up and clean up afterwards. Do yourself a favor and get this for your crafty friends

This tool seemed great in principle using existing batteries, but the on off switch is in the wrong place so you bump it with your thumb and it’s constantly in a state of being cold. It broke the linkage inside the machine on the first use I would stay away from this and go with a conventional hot glue gun, I live in a rural community and initiated a return, but didn’t get returned in time so I got stuck with this one, but never again

The hot glue gun works well and is compatible with DeWalt 20V battery. This is one of the best tools I bought. It has low cost and uses existing batteries, making it easier to complete the project without dragging wires. It is heated in less than 5 minutes, about the same time as the wire gun, and uses a standard glue stick.

It seems to work as well as a DeWalt tool at a much lower price. I hate the way China rips off our ideas but there are times I just can't justify spending the extra dollars when the higher priced stuff is also made in China.
