ESD Soldering Mat Roll
If you own and/or work with soldering equipment in a static controlled environment then this mat is essential. The ESD mats protect up to 240 degrees Fahreneit in case of drips. These rolls offer excellent resistance to oil, grease and most common solvents, hot solders and soldering irons.
ESD products are primarily used to prevent electronic circuit boards and other electronic products from electrostatic charge. Static control is critical during electronic manufacturing.

I bought 1 then a second and now a third because of how awesome this mat is.I wish it was slightly more heat resistant but it's plenty good.

when I got this item it was way more than I had imagined, but it gets the job done. It comes in a large roll so whatever you need it for measure cut and ta-da all set. It is heat resistant, can not atest to the fact of anti-static or not . Don't really ever want to find out that it isn't because that means something got zapped. LOL Does exactly what it is described to do.

The roll itself weighs in at 9lbs and 15oz. which is helps keep it in contact with the workbench. The top seems just as durable as what you would expect from an electronics bench worktop. The backing keeps it from sliding around. Overall very happy to have some nice protection on my new workbench. Sizing was accurate.

I have been looking for a pad for my working bench and this is absolutely a go. It is enough for both desk and ground. Really worth the money.
