I purchased the EGSCATEE 2500W unit for a sump pump back-up system. I installed it using the instructions and it is working beautifully, although it hasn't been put to work yet (no power outage or big rains). The package comes with everything you need to install (other than the battery and the sump pump, of course). The meter is easy to read and understand. I have used a 100AH LiFePO4 battery in the system. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to make sure to connect the positive (red) wire first to the battery and then the negative (black). This reduces the spark that is inherent in connecting an inverter to a battery.

I bought this inverter 5 months ago while redoing my battery backup for our sump pump. It was quick and easy to set up and has been running fine since installed. I haven't had a power loss yet but have ran the sump off the battery only as a test and it ran great for 6 hours with little drain on the battery

This product arrive well packaged and instructions were easy for set up. Took me less than 20 minutes to hook up everything. I have had this product now for three monthe and the product has performed as stated. The bright led lights make it easy for me to read voltage in a dark confined place. I would definately recommennd this product.

Working very good. Connected multiple sump pumps to this unit. No noise comes from unit and turns on automatically once power goes out. Very nice.

This was just what I was looking for to keep my sump pump running if there was a loss of power. It is great that it has a window so you can see exactly how much charge there is. I unplugged the sump pump to test the UPS and it kicked in right away. I highly recommend this UPS.

The included manual is a little lacking. Ie..it doesn't provide a sequence for making the power connections, and it doesn't specifically explain that the green (power) LED must be illuminated for automatic switching to battery backup in the event of a power outage. My sump pumps have float switches that piggy-back onto the sump power cords, so their plugging configuration prevented using the built in power outlets without a heavy duty extension/splitter. Just be aware that the outlets are very close together. The included battery cables appear to be a suitable gauge, but they're not very long. Your battery will need to be positioned very close. I worked out a way to use a single saw horse to locate the battery and to mount the backup supply switcher. It powers the pumps as intended and switches to battery power when unplugging from the mains to simulate a power outage. We'll see how it stands up during a real test when the water's coming in fast enough to trigger both pumps!Just remember - ALWAYS ON!

I’m very happy with this EGSCATEE sump pump battery backup unit. I’m using in pair with two 100 mAh LiFePO4 batteries to backup our basement sump pump during blackouts. Since it is a backup device, even after 6 months we’ve not actually needed it to do its job, but I’ve done enough testing to be confident it will work when I need it.In my tests, it appears to be about 90% efficient and converting battery power to AC, which is as efficient as can be expected. It switches from AC line power to battery backup seamlessly. The remaining battery capacity display appears to be correct based on my calculations. The overall construction of the unit is very good, and I like the remote display even though it is not essential for my application.Note that I would recommend placing your batteries in battery cases (as shown in the photo) to protect them and avoid possible short-circuits.I purchased this unit after previously buying a Vevor unit that was advertised to work with LiFePO4 batteries, but really didn’t. I did several experiments to first confirm the Vevor unit wasn’t fully charging my LiFePO4 batteries and then more after getting the EGSCATEE unit confirm that it was. I found the EGSCATEE unit really did make full use of the LiFePO4 batteries I’ve paired it with.
