I mainly do N scale model trains, and I've used these lights in some of my engines. They can be fairly bright at the max voltage, so I often lower it with resistors. So far they hold up very well and none of them have given out on me (Besides the ones I accidentally overvolted, oops.) The wires and lights themselves are so tiny, they can be put virtually anywhere, and the wires are solid core so they can hold a shape when bent. With how long the wires are, I almost never need to add any extra wire.

You get a lot for this price, and the LEDs are nice and bright for their size. Worked great on a 3.3V microcontroller, too. Grab a couple CR2032 batteries when you pick this up.

As others have noted (and as noted in the product description) if you try to use red, orange, yellow with other colors, those other colors will either not light or will be very dim. At first I thought it was my solder joints until I re-read the description.A workaround: I needed to light Red, Green, and White at the same time. By trial and error, I found that adding a 560 ohm resistor in series on the Red LED solved the problem - the others were then visible. The white is not as bright as when lit alone, it could be that adding a smaller value resistor to the green LED would even them out.

The only problem is the wire is so fine it is difficult to strip the insulation without tearing the wire. However, they are nice and bright and do an awesome job. I found that using a very thin blade and cutting horizontally and carefully I could strip the insulation. The end of the exposed wire they leave upon shipment is not really enough to work with.

These a some BRIGHT little guys, probably should put the emphasis on little cause these things are tiny! Was really impressed by how bright they were for their size. Great that the diodes come with presoldered wires, and although I found it very difficult to work with them because of the gauge of the wire I do like that this kit came with some solderless connects. Going to be using these in a few dioramas I have planned and these little diodes have me super excited! 10/10 would recommend!

Lights were bright. Perfect for small spaces like instrument clusters. Lights are tiny about the size of a needle.

These are very reasonably priced and are consistent performers. Used for various N scale projects, including vehicle headlights and porch lights for structures.

Pretty good pack for the price. Put green lights in my Evo diecast model. Amazon wants me to rate the "ease of use"...no, these are tiny, as intended, and are hard to work with lol.

I was able to stuff three of these easily into my model kit. The cables are quite long and you can strip the wire with your fingernails if needed. I wired the 3 in series (1 green, and 2 red) and powered them with 6x377 Energizer batteries (9.3 volts). The only downside is that the cables can be brittle sometimes when bending them sharply or too much. Otherwise these are fantastic and easy to hide, perfect!

Bought these to light some Lego village sets. They work really well, the lead wires are thin enough to pass between bricks, the LED's tiny enough to fit into nearly any type of clear brick piece - if a hole is needed to feed the wires, a 0.6mm drill bit is more than big enough. Easy to work with, good length lead wires, seem solid enough to handle without breaking. The light is also nice and bright, given the micro size of these LEDs. Will be buying some more in the future.

I use these on my 6’ Titanic model. Recommended for model builders
