Overview
This is an E-Ink display HAT for Raspberry Pi, 2.7inch, 264x176 resolution, with embedded controller, communicating via SPI interface.
Due to the advantages like ultra low power consumption, wide viewing angle, clear display without electricity, it is an ideal choice for
applications such as shelf label, industrial instrument, and so on.

This thing is awesome. It displays things that you ask it to, then keeps displaying them even after there is no power, just like a kindle.

I had it always on for around 3 months as a ticker for crypto. Unfortunately, it just stopped working out of the blue and I haven’t been able to fix it

produit avec très peu de d'applications tierce qui puisse au moins le faire utiliser les boutons latérales donc manuel très peu explicite qui explique le fonctionnement de l'afficheur

Il display è un piccolo e-paper da 2.7".Le dimensioni ridotte lo rendono perfetto sia per applicazioni che non necessitano di troppo spazio per mostrare informazioni e sia per un piccolo ingombro.Io l'ho usato per sviluppare un piccolo progetto di stazione meteo (il codice è stato scritto da me) su kit di sviluppo Arduino usando un ESP8266.Il display funziona perfettamente anche su ESP32 e su Raspberry.Bisogna precisare che il display nasce come daughter board per il Raspberry. Infatti è possibile montarlo proprio sul Raspberry Pi (la superficie occupata è esattamente quanto quella del Raspberry Pi)Il display è monocromatico è ha 4 tasti programmabili.il tempo di refresh è di circa 1 secondo ma, usando particolari "escamotage" durante la fase di programmazione, è possibile ottenere un quick refresh di piccolo porzioni dello schermo con tempi davvero bassi (nella mia applicazione usando questo "quick refresh" il refresh tipico dei display e-paper non si riesce a percepire). Comunque bisogna precisare che, usando diverse volte il "quick refresh", il display tende a "sporcarsi" mostrando tracce dei pixel mostrati nei refresh precedenti dunque consiglio vivamente di effettuare un full refresh ogni tot di minuti.Consiglio l'acquisto!
