I wanted a new toy to keep him stimulated, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was reasonably priced, keep in mind it is corrugated cardboard, but he loves it! He loves the box and sitting in it and playing with this little catnip fish that came with it. He checked out the larger stand, but hasn't used it yet. I am hoping it allows him to scratch that instead of my furniture. Very simple to put together, a kid could do it. All in all very pleased with the purchase and would recommend

Cats love it but the first package shipped damaged with broken pieces (Amazon box was fine). They replaced it and the other one works fine but my cats immediately were able to get the ball out of the tunnel, the cardboard did not last long (maybe a week) even though i trim my cats nails weekly. There's little cardboard shreds everywhere from them destroying it. The scratcher that goes in the box for them to play in doesn't actually fit properly. All of this to say everything about the scratcher annoys me but my cats love it. If you don't care about the it getting destroyed quickly or don't mind the cardboard everywhere then I'm sure it will be perfect for your kitties. Also yes i have had cardboard scratches in the past and i would say the cardboard did not last as long as other scratches. Again my cats absolutely love it it just drives me crazy.

My cat loves it. It was easy to put together. My cat was obsessed with the fish toy and love to sleep in the scratcher box!

I am impressed. Directions were a bit unclear as to which piece of cardboard went where, but I figured it out. I am impressed with the quality of the wooden supports and the sturdiness of the structure as a whole. Does not fall over and my cat keeps sitting on it although she likes to scratch the box more than standing portion.

Nice scratcher. Needs something to hold it still if it’s on hard wood floors, so it doesn’t slide when they scratch. But, they claimed it quickly and scratch on it daily.

I originally had it the other way up against the wall, but since she started using it frequently, we turn it so she'll scratch different areas. When we lay it with the long side on the ground, she sleeps on it sometimes. Assembly was pretty easy. She wouldn't use it at first so I added a little catnip along with a spray on the chair she was trying to use as her scratch post, and she finally got the hint. She won't use that more expensive one in the background that we bought at a pet store at all because it fell over once and startled her so this more simple "L" shape has been great.
