Low Voltage Mounting Brackets
- Easy to install and designed specifically for passing low voltage wires (phone, internet, TV, video) through a wall
- Has oval mounting holes that allow for final shifting and straightening
- Adjusts to fit various wall thicknesses (1/4" - 1"), as the bracket wings secure when mounting screws are tightened
- Acts as its own template for cut-out; simply trace the inside of the bracket then cut the hole
- UL/CSA Listed and provides added protection for cables that run through knockouts in metal studs

Step 1: Trace the Inside of the Bracket
Step 2: Cut Along the Outside of the Lines and Insert the Mounting Bracket
Step 3: Install the Bracket and Tighten the Screws Until Wings are Securely Fastened to the Wall
Step 4: Screw on the Cable Plate. Installation Complete!

I used these so I could run coax, ethernet, and HDMI cables from my TV stand up to my wall mounted TV. There was plenty of space for all of those cables, and they were easy to install. Having the cables hidden inside the wall makes my setup look so clean. The plates are nice and shiny and didn't crack or anything when I tightened the screws down (just don't overtighten). Update 8/23: I moved into another house and bought these same wall plates for the same type of job. They worked great again. I highly recommend these.

These wall cable plates worked great! I was able to route a COAX cable through a wall in a very non-obtrusive installation. Follow the installation instructions for a trouble-free fit. Be careful to make the hole no bigger than necessary to snugly press the plastic mounting frame into it. Then, don't over-tighten the screws that pull the ears snug against the wall interior. When you start to feel the resistance of those ears grabbing the interior of the wall, stop tightening. Finally, be sure to mount the wall plate to the frame so the cable hole is at the top. When you're standing in the room you won't even notice the hole. Mount it upside down and it will be an eyesore, though it will still function properly. It's best to run the cable through the plate BEFORE installing the outside plate to the frame.

I was extremely pleased with this item. Very clean look. The instructions were a little lacking. One of the cards that came in the packaging should have been a template for the hole to cut. I really like the fact that the ears are centered on the top and bottom, so if you wind up right next to a stud, they still work well. Not like the electric gang boxes that have a similar set up. The fact that they give you Phillip's head screws for the trim plate, instead of flat head like most companies, shows they have a love for humanity. They have a very clean look when finished. They probably weren't the cheapest option but the materials are good and strong. I've had issues with cheaper stuff breaking.

Installed a wall-mounted TV and I wanted a clean wire install. Picked this up because I have a bunch of wires that needed to be run to my TV. Really easy to install. If you have a wall with insulation in it then you will definitely need a good strong snake to attach the cables to. Also, make sure you install the plate on top so the wires go right down and the one on the bottom so the cables fall right in. So they need to be in opposite vertical orientations.

This works great just make sure you dont have any horizontal fire break studs in your wall before trying to install this. You might need some kind of fish tape if you have insulation inside the wall too. Otherwise this a a decent little kit if you only have a few wires to pass through. If you have more wires you might want to get the 2 Gang size instead of the single gang.

I’ve never mounted a tv or concealed cables before. After mounting my tv successfully, the most intimidating part was carving a hole in my wall to conceal the cables. This product made the conceal far easier than the mount and my set up now looks incredible! Would definitely recommend

I install security camera systems in houses and businesses. Which usually means I have 10-30 wires coming out of a wall somewhere. So I always try and use these to make the wires come out in a clean fashion and zip tie them all together. Well built and easy to install. Love em.
