Great little bracket but do yourself a favor and get some flat head 1" self tap screws, the ones that come with are horrible to try and screw through the flange. Just kept spinning off and ripping the drywall. Other than that they work great.

The screws that come with the MPLS are crap. Should just be normal drywall screws like they are with caddy version

Why would anybody need 15 of these?Anyways I used this to sneak some cords in the wall for a mounted TV. It worked as I had hoped it would. No big surprises or anything like that. It's a little tricky to make sure the screw makes it into the fold around tabs, and I ended up poking myself but not bleeding or anything like that. They weren't really explicit that when you screw into the wall that you want your screw to go through that bend around clip, but I think that is the intention because then it holds it even more snug up against the wall. So yeah that works just fine. The only reason I docked a star is because I hate false advertising, and their pictures are showing stainless steel but this is galvanized. Not a problem of course because you will not see it, but don't show me pictures of stainless steel.I included pictures of two outlets I did. One is more snug than the other. I suppose I should chalk that up to user error. Also, I'm not exactly sure if this is to code. Not that I care that much. The screw that you screw into the wall is just kind of poking out there and if you pull the cord up against it really hard you could possibly short the cord. But it would take some pretty aggressive action or very weak cord for that to happen. I think this is perfectly acceptable for homeowner use but I don't know enough about code. You know how they can be persnickety like thatPros:PriceSimplicityDurable MetalCons:To code? Not easy to get perfect

But I really like having this metal one. It is quick and easy to install and the wings are bendable to different thicknesses which is nice. Seem like pretty good construction and plan to use these on more of low voltage installs.
